Sail On

Sail On — the second single from Mirka’s upcoming album Phoenix — reflects her personal journey of overcoming.
Life brings us hardships, hurts, and disappointments. No matter how tightly we try to hold on, we soon realize that nothing is truly in our control — we must learn to let go. No one is immune to pain, but healing often comes from unexpected places or people we may not have seen at first. To receive that healing, we must release the pain and choose to trust — to sail — again. The wind will carry us where it will, and as we move forward, we will one day reach that shore — that person — and, “like a Phoenix, you’ll rise and leave the ashes behind.” At its heart, Sail On is a song of hope, trust, restoration, and healing.
